Homeopathy is a therapeutic medical science, which is based on the notion that substances able to cause certain symptoms in a healthy person can, in turn, heal those same symptoms in a sick person.
iri logoThis system was developed by Samuel Hahnemann towards the end of the 18th century, based on the understanding that healing comes from within, from the body’s innate self-healing forces. These forces are to be stimulated by certain substances that would actually cause respective disease if given in a high doses; intending to heal an illness with its equal substance.
Homeopathy is the practice of the use of active ingredients in minute dosages along with naturally occurring substances in order to provide a healthier balance of internal chemistry.
Homeopathy is based upon the principle that ‘like cures like’ — that is, the same substance that in large doses produces the symptoms of an illness cures it when administered in very small doses.
Homeopathy comes from the Greek words “homeo” meaning similar and “pathos” meaAPANT Logoning disease or suffering; hence, the reason for calling homeopathy the “law of similars”.
A positive state of health and wellness is a harmonious balance throughout our body.
